Reward increased to find man on Texas' most wanted list

HOUSTON

John Michael Enard, 59, is this month's featured fugitive and the reward leading to his capture could land you $13,000 this month.

According to authorities, Enard, removed his ankle monitor in January and fled from a Houston halfway house. He's considered a sexually violent predator with a high risk to offend again.

Enard is wanted for parole violation and felony failure to comply with civil commitment requirements. His convictions include aggravated rape-sexual assault, burglary of habitation with intent to rape and burglary.

He's six feet tall and weights approximately 155 pounds.

Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in four different ways:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  • Text the letters DPS followed by your tip to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
  • Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
  • Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the "SUBMIT A TIP" link (under the "About" section).

    All tips will remain anonymous.
