Elsa Munos Romero, 29, was located Monday evening unharmed. Police say she was never even aware that she was reported missing.
A witness called police and told them Romero banged on his door, threw her passport inside and was abducted by two unknown men.
On Tuesday, HPD said that witness suffers from mental health issues and the story was not true.
