A truck crashed into the business located along the East Freeway and Avenue C. Police say a woman heading east on I-10 reached for a bag, causing her to drive off the freeway.
Her pickup truck crashed through a utility box and then slammed into the restaurant. The driver was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
The restaurant was closed at the time. No other injuries were reported.
