Green lighting turned off on Dallas skyscraper

DALLAS, TX

Workers on Monday turned off the signature green neon lighting on the 72-story Bank of America Plaza building. The complex will undergo $20 million in previously announced upgrades.

Officials with leasing agent Peleton Commercial Real Estate say LED lights will be installed. Sarah Hinkley says the updated system is meant to enhance the light quality and color.

Hinkley estimates the project should be finished by November.

The office tower opened in 1985.
