Police told us the alleged robbers confronted the victim when he stopped at a store in the 6800 block of Long Drive at Rupley Circle around 10:30am.
According to investigators, the victim was pulling a cash bag out of his trunk when the suspects assaulted him. They drove away with the money, but then crashed about half a mile away.
One suspect broke his leg and was arrested at the scene. The other suspect tried to run away, but he was followed by a witness until police were able to catch up and arrest him.
