2-alarm fire burns auto parts business in north Harris County

Firefighters were called to All Foreign and American Auto Parts on Airline near Gulf Bank just before 4am.

Firefighters with the Little York Fire Department say they had troubles from the start. A second alarm was pulled so they could get some help. In all, 80 firefighters responded to the scene.

Crews had to break into the gated property and there were no nearby fire hydrants. They had to truck in water using tankers.

Most of the office building burned, but the flames did not spread to the warehouse where the cars are kept.

Officials are working to determine what started the blaze. They say no one was injured.
