Rik Melartin is accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls last year. On Friday morning, the former car dealership spokesman faced a judge on the seven new felony charges, including sexual assault of a child, tampering with a witness and tampering with evidence.
Today, the judge granted Melartin $50,000 bond on each charge. That means to get out of jail, he will have to meet a total of $350,000 bond.
