Man missing from group home in Mission Bend subdivision

HOUSTON

Mathew Bryan Henderson, 30, was last seen Tuesday evening, at a group home in the 7300 block of Addicks Clodine Road, located in the Mission Bend subdivision. That is in the northeast quadrant of Fort Bend County. The group home is located north of Bissonnet Street, south of Bellaire Blvd, and west of Highway 6.

Group home staff contacted the sheriff's office the following afternoon. Deputies searched the immediate neighborhood and local parks, but didn't find any sign of Henderson. Investigators also contacted area medical facilities and law enforcement agencies.

Authorities say Henderson has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and is described as a white male, 5-feet, 9-inches in height and weighing about 170 pounds. He has blond hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, tan pants, red shoes. He also was carrying a black/red backpack.

Henderson has no family in the immediate area nor is he familiar with the Houston area. According to group home staff, Henderson probably does not have any money on him and had only been at the listed group home for about the six weeks.

Anyone who has information concerning Henderson is asked to contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office Dispatch at 281-341-4665 or Detective Scott Heinemeyer at 281-341-4657.
