Beaumont police on Friday did not immediately announce any arrests. Authorities are searching for a dark SUV that sideswiped a parked vehicle while fleeing Thursday night.
Police are trying to identify the victims and determine a motive for the shootings.
Officers responded to reports of shootings as some men played dominoes outside a house. Witnesses told investigators that several other men confronted the players and gunfire broke out.
Beaumont police say three men were dead at the scene. One wounded man was treated and released from a hospital. The other injured man remains hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds.
