HOUSTON --
Don't plan on using the light rail train this weekend. METRO is cancelling service because of maintenance and construction. Rail service will shut down today at 7:45pm. It won't resume until early Monday morning.
METRO shuttle buses will provide rides from near the Fannin south station to near the University of Houston-Downtown station.
