It happened at the Twin Peaks restaurant on Lomitas and the Southwest Freeway.
Flat screen TVs were out in the open at the restaurant's patio, but police say the bar has a good video surveillance system with motion sensors that tipped them off right away.
Several officers were nearby when they got the call. When they arrived, they say the two suspects bolted, but they were quickly taken into custody.
Officers say the suspects had removed two flat screen TVs from the bar's patio area.
"I'm sure it's tempting for anybody, but if you look at the location, it's right next to the freeway, so I don't know how intelligent it is to do it," said Sgt. Ken Serrs with the Houston Police Department.
Officers say the suspects had parked their pickup behind the bar with the hood up, apparently to avoid suspicion. The two men are now facing burglary charges.
