Officials said Ralph Reyes Jr. was crossing the street in the 12200 block of Antoine Drive when he was hit by a Mazda 626.
CPR was administered and Reyes was rushed to the Houston Northwest Medical Center, but he did not survive his injuries.
According to deputies, Reyes was crossing the roadway where there was no crosswalk provided, and he failed to yield the right of way to the Mazda.
This accident remains under investigation. No charges are expected.
