It happened just after 11pm on June 13 at the Valero Corner Store in the 14100 block of Bissonnet. The clerk told deputies that that a man walked into the store and pointed a gun at him, demanding money. The suspect climbed over the counter, took cash and left the store.
The suspect was wearing a dark-colored hoodie with the hood pulled up. He had on tan or khaki-colored pants, white shoes and a mask pulled over his face covering his mouth and nose. He also was carrying a backpack or satchel with the strap over his right shoulder.
Two witnesses describe the suspect as a black male between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slim build.
