The Harris County Sheriff's Office got the call at around 1:45pm about the wreck involving three vehicles near Kuykendahl and Eagle Bend. We're told there was a nearly head-on crash.
Two cars were heading southbound on Kuykendahl when they somehow collided with a gold minivan, forcing it off the road.
A passenger in the back seat of the minivan, possibly an elderly man, was killed. The driver was taken to the hospital.
Another driver also was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
