Police say the robber tried to hold up a Compass Bank on Memorial in west Houston Monday morning. Police say the man pulled a gun on employees at the bank and managed to get inside the place, but for some reason, he took off without getting any cash.
The FBI thinks something may have spooked him. They say he left in a newer model Mercury. No one was hurt.
