Parking garage spot sells for $82,000 in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

This 8- by 12-foot parking space sits in an enclosed garage in a condominium building. While, $82,000 sounds like a whole lot of money just for a parking spot, but realtors say parking could be a good investment.

"It's the 3 L's of real estate – location, location, location," said realtor Sean Sullivan.

Having a parking spot can add up to $100,000 to the purchase price of a property. Those spots are being rented out at up to $450 a month in parts of San Francisco.
