It happened after 11pm at an apartment complex off Concourse and Lansdale.
Residents of the apartment complex told police they heard as many as four gunshots and then found the man on the ground outside. He was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in critical condition.
Right now, police do not have a motive or any suspects.
