The team beat Corpus Christi Moody 6-1 in the 4A State Final Friday evening.
The Cougars were led by Robert Dugger and his 4 RBI including an inside the park homerun. He also pitched the complete game, earning the MVP.
"This is a great group of guys. It's the best thing I could ask for. It's the best feeling in the world," pitcher Robert Dugger said.
"I'm still in shock right now. This has been our dream from Week 1 and it finally came true," pitcher Nick Banks said.
Congrats, Cougars!
