Killeen police on Tuesday announced a body found over the weekend has been identified as 31-year-old Christopher Wayne Strickland of Belton.
A relative reported him missing May 30. Police say Strickland had not been seen since May 24.
Police confirmed the identity of the body discovered Sunday afternoon through fingerprints and identification Strickland carried.
An autopsy has been ordered. Further details on the death investigation weren't immediately released.
