Man in stolen vehicle leads police on wild chase

HOUSTON

According to investigators, a wrecker driver was towing a stolen vehicle along the North Freeway and Tidwell when a suspect pulled up in another stolen truck and starting spraying the car with WD-40. Police say suspects usually do that in order to remove finger prints from vehicles.

The wrecker driver called 911 and when police arrived, the suspect took off, leading them on a chase. He was finally arrested nearby.

A woman was in the truck driven by the suspect. She told officers she'd been kidnapped. Investigators are looking into her allegations.

The truck was stolen from a paint business.
