It happened around 10:15am on May 20 at a Walgreens near Highway 6 and Bissonnet, according to Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers.
The victim said she was standing in line to pay when the woman behind her tried to help her with her preferred customer card, even though she didn't ask for help. When the victim returned home, she discovered her Samsung Nexus Tablet had been stolen from her purse. She returned to the store and surveillance video caught the theft on tape.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic woman in her 40s, with a medium-brown complexion and was heavy set. She had blonde and brown curly hair to her shoulders and was wearing a multi-colored floral design dress.
The video also shows the suspect entering the store with two other females who are persons of interest in the case.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspect involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
