Charles Alfred Linebaugh II is accused of setting on fire the home where he lives, with his father and his father's wife. The fire broke out in a home in the 10300 block of Braemer on Sunday, May 19.
The elder Linebaugh's wife, who was inside the house at the time of the fire, told an investigator with the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office that Linebaugh had gotten into a physical altercation with family members, and then was later seen igniting papers and stuffing them in an air conditioning vent.
Linebaugh, 27, is charged with arson. Bail in the case has been set at $30,000.
