Austin High School in southeast Houston held a service Saturday morning to remember 65 alumni killed in World War II and the Korean, Vietnam and Afghan wars.
Students placed a wreath at the Fallen Heroes wall and lowered the American flag to half-staff to remember those who gave their lives.
They then raised the flag to recognize all current veterans and active duty members of the military.
This was the school's seventh annual Memorial Day service.
