Police say a man shot two of his girlfriend's family members during an argument in the backyard of a home on Blarney and Donegal.
It is not yet clear what the fight was about, but police say at some point, the boyfriend pulled out a gun and started shooting. Other relatives at the home helped subdue the boyfriend until officers arrived.
"I was walking to my car, I was walking my dog and then I heard like a lot of noise of, 'Let the gun go, put the the gun down!'" witness Megan Carter said.
The two people who were shot are expected to survive. The boyfriend also was taken to the hospital.
