A state trooper tried to pull the driver over in west Houston around midnight. The driver pulled into a Chevron station on Highway 6 and Briarforest, then jumped out and ran. The suspect made it into a wooded area.
Authorities used K-9 units and a helicopter to search for him, but he was not found. Authorities do know the driver's identity.
