And he says that's wrong. He was given the Milestone Award last night at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas -- but was booed by some when he was named the winner.
During in his acceptance speech, he went after those who focus on his personal life. He says for a 19-year-old, he thinks he is "doing a pretty good job." He says he's "an artist" -- not some gimmick -- who should be judged on his music.
He insists all the other "bull" -- as he put it -- "shouldn't be spoken.
