Volunteer firefighters save man from burning home

HOUSTON

The fire broke out around 10am at home in the 18000 Tanager Lane in the Rosewood Hills Subdivision. According to Assistant Fire Chief Lee Sulecki with Rose Hill Volunteer Fire Department, first responders found heavy smoke showing from the second story of the home. They started a primary search and located a 51-year-old man, who was transported to Hermann via Life Flight. His condition has not been released.

There were no other injuries reported. The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

The Rose Hill Volunteer Fire Department was assisted on scene by Magnolia and Tomball VFDs.
