The car chase ended on the Southwest Freeway and the Beltway around 9:30pm.
Police say the car stopped when it ran off the road and hit a curb, but the two suspects didn't stop there. They jumped out of the car and ran away. Both of them were captured a short time later.
Authorities say they still don't know why they tried to get away in the first place.
