The tree fell on Park Lane near South Wayside after the storms that passed through the area. Crews had to be extra careful when they were cutting it up because it has a large bees nest in the branches. P> Exterminators were called in, but they weren't able to phase the bees. They actually attracted more.
Reinforcements will be called in today to try to get rid of the bees.
