The National Association of Letter Carriers is holding their 21st annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive today.
Houstonians are asked to place non-perishable food items in non-breakable containers next to their mailboxes before letter carriers deliver mail today.
The letter carriers will take the food to the Houston Food Bank for distribution to various hunger relief charities.
The food drive is happening all over the nation and includes more than 10,000 participating cities and towns.
