Investigators say Tina Quiser began a relationship with a high school student in the Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School. Quiser is an elementary school teacher in the district.
She was booked into the San Jacinto County Jail on Wednesday, and charged with improper relationship between educator and student.
The district says the male student suspected to be involved in the relationship was not underage at the time of the alleged misconduct and has since graduated from high school.
