A shooting that left one person in the hospital last night in southeast Houston may have started as a fight over a woman.

Two men got into an argument around 11pm in the parking lot of Burnet Elementary School on Teaneck and Corning.

Police say one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other. The shooting suspect went to his home a few blocks away, called police and turned himself in to authorities.
