Houston police say at around 11:15pm Saturday, the victim was operating a black Yamaha R6 motorcycle northbound in the 1500 block of the West Loop South service road when he lost control and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Witnesses reported the victim was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time. Police say he was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the male victim, 27, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
