Humble bank robbery suspect leaves empty handed

Authorities with the FBI and the Humble Police Department are hoping you can identify this suspect. He's wanted in connection to a Friday afternoon attempted robbery at a bank in the 10000 block of FM 1960 By-Pass Road West.

Authorities need help identifying a man who tried robbing an Humble bank Friday, but left empty handed.

It happened just before 2pm at a bank in the 10000 block of FM 1960 By-Pass Road West, according to the FBI.

A man approached a teller, asked about opening an account, then handed over a note demanding cash. However, the man left without taking any money.

The bank robber is described as a heavy-set black male, approximately 200-300 pounds and about 5 feet 5 inches tall. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and white and black tennis shoes. He did not show a weapon during the robbery.
