It happened on Morningside near Amherst around 1:30am. The driver left Brian O'Neill's Irish Pub and bumped the victim with his truck, knocking him down.
The 80-year-old man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
The driver waited for police and is not expected to face any charges.
