Houston police release video from shooting in SW Houston

Houston police have released surveillance video of a shooting in southwest Houston in hopes the public can help find the gunman.

According to investigators, Eduardo Magana, 18, of Sugar Land and a family members walked into the Speedy Mart in the 7400 block of Bissonnet on December 8 at around 9:20pm. As they were leaving, police say a man got out of a vehicle and walked toward the pair, and then behind their vehicle.

Investigators say a second suspect then began shooting at Magana and his relative, who were inside their vehicle at this point. A third suspect reportedly also began firing at the vehicle.

Magana was hit shot in the head, and was transported by Life Flight in critical condition to Memorial Hermann Hospital. His relative was uninjured.

The shooter is described only as a Hispanic male wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Surveillance video of the suspect and another male initially seen getting out of the suspect's vehicle is posted above.
