A witness says the driver of a Jeep Cherokee changed lanes into oncoming traffic on Boudreaux near FM 2920.
The Jeep hit another car head-on and then rolled over and landed upside down. The driver was killed. A female passenger suffered minor injuries. The parents and two children in the other car also suffered minor injuries.
Sheriff's deputies are now waiting for autopsy results.
"At this time, we're not smelling anything inside the vehicle. There are no containers inside the vehicle to suggest alcohol. However, with the type of crash it is, it is always suspected," said Sgt. S. Wolverton with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "When we get the toxicology report back from the medical examiner's office, we will make a determination at that time."
Authorities do not know why the Jeep driver changed lanes in the first place.
