A U.S. Customs and Border Protection statement Wednesday says 3,760 pounds of marijuana was found Tuesday afternoon in a trailer at the commercial cargo facility at the Bridge of the Americas.
The truck was hauling a cargo of copy paper when an X-ray examination raised suspicions. The statement says a drug-sniffing dog alerted to boxes of copy paper from which agents removed 322 bundles of marijuana with an estimated retail value of $3 million.
The statement says no arrests were made and the investigation continues.
