Many of our neighbors are living at or below the poverty line, while rising food and gas prices are forcing them to choose between things like feeding their children and paying rent. And thousands of individuals and families are finding themselves in need.
Giving to the ABC-13 Share Your Holidays Food Drive illustrates how caring people make a difference by working together to help neighbors. Your donations and financial contributions help the Houston Food Bank warm the holiday season for our neighbors most in need.
Today from 6am to 6pm, you can bring non-perishable food items or cash donations to one of our many collection sites all around the greater Houston area. For anyone needing help, the Houston Food Bank Hotline is 713-547-8692.
