Tim Heller: Rainfall volunteers needed

HOUSTON According to Jeff Lindner, coordinator for Houston-Galveston region, "You do not need a meteorology degree -- just an interest in weather conditions and a desire to learn more about how weather impacts our region." Local agencies use that data to determine exactly where heaviest rain has fallen and where the potential for flooding is greatest.
