The drive helps collect non-perishable food for needy families throughout the Houston area. More than 3,500 families were helped last year, with more than $48,000 in donations received.
Today's kick-off announcement takes place at 10am at the Fiesta Mart on Airline Drive. The food will be delivered to churches that are pre-registered in the program.
