The Amarillo Globe-News reports that the toddler and another child were the two passengers in a Mazda driving Wednesday afternoon. Police said the Mazda was hit by a Chevrolet Tahoe.
The drivers of both vehicles and the other child were hospitalized.
Police continue to investigate the crash. They did not release the names of anyone involved.
