It happened at Bluto's Bar, which is off Richmond near Amanda on the southwest side of town.
The victim, who is expected to survive, told police he was robbed in the parking lot of the sports bar and was shot three times while trying to get away.
Police are still looking for the gunman, who apparently didn't manage to get any money at all.
