The captain of the Disney Magic cruise ship contacted watchstanders at Sector Houston-Galveston around 9:45pm Friday because a 31-year-old passenger was reportedly having pregnancy issues.
The Coast Guard launched a rescue crew aboard an Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter and an Air Station Corpus Christi HU-25 Guardian jet.
The crew located the cruise ship around 12:45am. They hoisted the woman and transported her to awaiting emergency medical services at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
