Laagunettar Dawn Wilhite is charged with organized retail theft. Police say on three dates in September and October Wilhite took dozens of cans of baby formula and walked right out of three different Target stores without paying.
Wilhite is accused of stealing a total of 88 cans of formula, worth more than $2,140.
Court documents state that Wilhite is the leader of a large organized retail theft group of suspects that will be charged in the future. She is reportedly charged in other cases throughout the state of Texas.
