On May 15, 2012, investigators say Andre Dwayne Toliver was arguing outside of a home he shared with the female victim on the 1200 block of W. Donovan. As the argument escalated, the victim retreated into the home to call police.
As she entered the home, authorities say Toliver followed threatening to take the victim's life. The victim barricaded herself in a bedroom and attempted to call police. Toliver then threw open the door, threatening the victim with a pistol. Toliver then fled the home.
Witnesses report that Toliver then fired one shot, striking a neighbor's vehicle.
Toliver is charged with the aggravated assault of a family member. A warrant was issued for his arrest with no bond.
