Photos of suspect in west Houston video game store robbery released

HOUSTON

The suspect is wanted for holding up the Game Stop at Westheimer and Kirkwood in west Houston.

Investigators say on September 17, he pretended to buy a game. Once the employee opened the register, he pulled a gun and demanded money. The employee feared for his life and complied. The suspect then fled the scene, but it is not known if he fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The suspect is described only as a black male, 35 to 40 years old, about 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds. He was wearing eye glasses and a mechanic-style shirt.

Anyone with information on the identity of the wanted suspect in this case is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. All tipsters will remain anonymous.
