Man thanks bystanders, first responders who helped save his life after heart attack

HOUSTON

Farshid Parvinazar on Friday thanked four women and several first responders at Fire Station 82 in southwest Houston. A few weeks ago, Parvinazar was playing volleyball at a gym when he suffered his heart attack and collapsed. Four women quickly jumped into action, calling 9-1-1 then starting CPR.

"Over 25 people that saved my life and I believe deep in my heart if one of them was not there I wouldn't have been here right now," Parvinazar said.

He was in the hospital and unconscious for several days. He regained consciousness on his son's 15th birthday.
