An 18-wheeler overturned on the Highway 59 and I-10 interchange early Wednesday afternoon. When our chopper got there, the driver was still inside the rig. Police had to remove the front windshield to get him out.
There were no reports of any serious injuries.
Because of the lost load, the incident is anticipated to last into the rush period, so travelers are urged to consider taking an alternate route or changing their travel times.
