Man gets 92 years in Ohio frat house shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, OH

The (Youngstown) Vindicator reports that 23-year-old Columbus Jones Jr. was sentenced Thursday after a being convicted of murder and other charges.

Prosecutors say Jones left a frat party at Youngstown State after an argument on Feb. 6, 2011, then came back with a gun and started shooting. Police say Youngstown State senior Jamail Johnson was killed while trying to usher a group of partygoers away from the gunfire and out of harm's way.

Several others were charged in connection with the shooting and await trial.
